Baptism?

Baptism is one of our favorite things we get to be a part of at Overflow because baptism is a celebration of your faith in Jesus, and your commitment to follow Jesus! It is a public declaration of an internal transformation. Through baptism you get to share with family, friends, and the church that you have placed your trust in Jesus as Savior and Lord, and that through Jesus you have been given a fresh start, a new heart, and made completely new. If you are interested in taking a step towards baptism it would be our joy to walk with you through the process!

Baptism Application

We love this question and the conversations that it brings! We do believe that you can be baptized again if you were baptized when you were a kid but we would love to have a conversation with you about what you feel like God is leading you to!
No! Baptism is an outward declaration that you have decided to be a follower of Jesus. We believe that every Jesus follower is called to be baptized but salvation is found through faith in Jesus alone!
Our process is simple yet intentional! We ask everyone to participate in something we call baptism group, a four-week journey with other people getting baptized where you grow in your faith, explore the meaning of baptism, and get to know the people you will be getting baptized with!
We encourage everyone to get baptized at an Overflow Baptism night that happens three times a year. If your schedule doesn’t allow you to be here on our upcoming baptism night our team will help find another time for you to get baptized!
