What is
friendsgiving?
Each year our church family comes together to host a Thanksgiving meal for all of the 18-25 year olds that call our church home! Friendsgiving creates a space for the people that call Overflow home to share a meal together, be engaged in formative community and worship Jesus. This year Overflow Friendsgiving will be on November 18th at 7pm. This is such a sweet event and an opportunity for us to BE the church and serve WITH one another! In order to feed 1300+ young adults a meal, we need A LOT of food and we could use your help with that! If you are interested in bringing a dish or signing on the night of friendsgiving you can register for both of those things below! We appreciate you so much!

Great question! Friendsgiving will be on November 18th at 7pm at Port City Community Church. Similarly to last year we will have dinner set up in the parking lot! Look for the signs and volunteers to direct you towards a place you can park!

After you sign up to serve our team will work hard on placing you in just the right spot to serve on the night of Friendsgiving. When we get closer to the event someone from our staff team will reach out to you to let you know what team you are on and what your schedule will look like!

This night is FOR you FROM our church body! We love your heart to serve but we would love it so much if you would just come and receive! Have a yummy meal and be engaged in formative community!
-
Absolutely! Friendsgiving is open to any 18-25 year old that wants to participate! If you are serving at Friendsgiving and want to bring a friend we love that! We just ask that your friend fills out our team form that can be found HERE!
